Step 4: Find Your GetResponse Campaign Token

GetResponse organizes contacts into campaigns (similar to lists). You'll need the Campaign Token to specify which campaign contacts should be added to.

  1. In GetResponse, go to "Lists" or "Campaigns" in the left menu
  2. Select the campaign you want to use
  3. Click the settings/gear icon for that campaign
  4. Look for "Campaign ID" or "Campaign Token"

    It's a unique identifier like: aBc12

  2. Click "API Documentation"
  3. Navigate to the Campaigns endpoint
  4. View the list of campaigns with their tokens

  3. Go to the "Integrations" tab
  4. Find the "GetResponse" section
  5. Toggle the switch to "Enable"
  6. Enter your Campaign Token in the "Campaign ID" field
  7. (Optional) Add tags in the "Tags" field

Separate multiple tags with commas: "buyer, product-a, q1-2025"

  8. Save your deal

What happens now:

  • When someone purchases this deal, they're automatically added to your GetResponse campaign
  • Tags are applied for segmentation
  • You can create automated workflows triggered by these tags
  • All contact data is synced instantly

Troubleshooting

Connection Test Failed

• Verify the API key is copied correctly (no extra spaces)
• Make sure the API key has "Full Access" permissions
• Check that your GetResponse account is active
• Try generating a new API key

Contacts Not Being Added

• Double-check the Campaign Token is correct
• Verify GetResponse integration is enabled for that deal
• Make sure the campaign still exists in GetResponse
• Check for duplicate contacts (GetResponse handles these automatically)

Tags Not Working

• Tags are auto-created in GetResponse, no need to pre-create them
• Avoid special characters in tag names
• Check the contact in GetResponse to verify tags
• Tags may take a minute to appear
